Weekly seminar on October 15, 2014, 10.00 a.m. will feature a report by of NAS Azerbaijan, professor Ibrahim Mayil oglu Nabiyev, main scientific worker of the Department of Functional Analysis, entitled “Solution of the inverse quasi-periodic problem for the diffusion operator”.

We present a complete solution of the inverse problem of spectral analysis for the diffusion operator with quasi-periodic boundary conditions. We prove a uniqueness theorem for the solution of the inverse problem and obtain sufficient conditions for a sequence of real numbers to be the spectrum of a quasi-periodic diffusion problem.
