On 22.10.2014, at 10:00 at the institute seminar a collaborator of Humboldt University (Berlin Germany) Gahramanov Ilmar Balakhan oglu will give a talk “Elliptic hypergeometric functions”.
The talk deals with theory and applications of elliptic hypergeometric functions. The classic and basis hypergeometric functions are known from the Euler time but elliptic hypergeometric functions have appeared the last 15 years. These functions may be encountered in integrable systems, in invariants of four-dimensional manifolds, in studying characters of Lie algebras, in knot invariants, in quantum field theory, in topological field theories, in mathematical physics, etc.
