The weekly Wednesday seminar on 18 February 2015, 10.00 a.m., featured a report  by leading researcher of the department of “Theory of functions” Niyazi Aladdin oglu Ilyasov. Topic: “On the order of uniform convergence of trigonometric Fourier series on some classes of functions in Lp(T), 1 ≤ p < ∞ , spaces.».
The report addresses the problem of the exact order of evasion in the uniform metric of partial sums of trigonometric Fourier series on the classes of functions with a given majorant of Lp(T) – modulus of smoothness or a sequence of the best approximations in Lp(T) .
