On April 15, at the Institute seminar the collaborator of the Institute of problems of mechanics of the Russian Academy of Sciences professor Yu.D. Chashechkin gave a talk on “Differential mechanics of fluids-a new generation models”. The goal of the report is to analyse the difference between two sections of the classic mechanics, to show new approaches and examples for improving the quality of flow descriptions.
The calculations were conducted by taking into account the correspondence degree of equations, definition of the rank of the whole system, composition of linearized variant, the degree of disperse function determining the number of independent functions composing the complete solution.
The sizes of calculated domains of main physical quantities were compared with the known new theoretical and experimental results and observations in the environment.
At the end, the directions of the further development theory of fluid mechanics, improvement of laboratory test and natural phenomena were discussed.
