Weekly seminar on May 27, 2015, 10.00 a.m. will feature a report  by dosent Telman Benser oglu Gasymov, a leading researcher  of the Department of  Non-Harmonic Analysis, entitled “Method of constructing a basis for a direct sum of Banach spaces”.

 In report a direct expansion for a Banach space with respect to subspaces is considered. A method for constructing a basis for a space, proceeding from bases for subspaces, is presented. Cases when the bases for subspaces are isomorphic and the corresponding isomorphisms are not required are also considered. Completeness, minimality and uniform minimality of corresponding systems are studied.
