Weekly seminar on Octember 21, 2015, 10.00 will feature a report by main researcher of “Creeping theory” Professor Vagif Mirahmed oglu Mirsalimov, entitled “Modelling of partial closing of slits in a heat-releasing array”.
On the basis of thermoelasticity methods the mathematical description of an effect of the partial contacting of variable width slits faces in a perforated heat-releasing isotropic array, weakened by doubly periodic system of cooling cylindrical channels of circular cross section is given. It is assumed that as the intensity of the heat-release in an array is increasing the array elastic properties are dependent on the temperature and fracture of the material is occur. It is assumed that under the influence of the thermal load the partial contacting of the slits faces takes place. Analysis of stress state of the heat-releasing medium with cavities shows that during of the array operation the fields of compressive stresses come into existence. The heat-releasing array has zones in which the faces of the slits came into contact. We assume that these zones are adjacent to the slits tip, and their unknown size comparable to the length of the slits.
The solution of the raised problem based on the principle of superposition. For the solution of boundary value problem the general conceptions, describes a class of doubly symmetric problems are constructed. The dependence of the length of the contact zone from the dimensionless heat-release intensity is set. Distribution of contact stresses was found.
