Weekly seminar on November 04, 2015, 10.00 will feature a report by PHD, Vagif Hajıyev, department chief of “Theory of elasticity and plasticity”, entitled “Stability and vibration of orthotropic plates, shells and heterogeneous pipelines”.
The report focuses on the stability and vibration of continuous nonhomogeneous plates, shells and pipelines, considering the resistance of the environment.
Parameters characterizing the properties of the structure are continuous functions of the spatial coordinates. Environments, which in contact with the structure described by the model of Pasternak (two constant linear model), Fuss-Winkler (linear heterogeneous model) and Carnet (linear viscoelastic model).
Approximate analytical method used for solving the problem.
