The Institute seminar on  “Fracture of circular and annular rings”


On 03.02.2016, at the Institute seminar Nailya Meraj kizi Kalantarli featured a report on “Fracture of circular and annular rings”. The report in devoted to some boundary value problems of fracture mechanics on initiation and propagation of a crack type deficiency in circular and annular discs.
For the first time a class of plane problems of fracture mechanics on crack initiation in circular and annular disks was studied, a new class of problems of elasticity theory with an unknown boundary was solved at different power and thermal loads. The problems on crack initiation in uniformly rotating circular and annular disks were solved. Dependences of the sizes of crack initiation zone, the length of the range of tractions, forces in the prefracture zones on the applied load an d geometrical parameters of circular and annular disks were obtained.
Chapter I is devoted to mathematical simulation of crack initiation in circular disk on the base of prefracture zone model in plastic flow state under constant stress. Chapter II is devoted is devoted to mathematical simulation of crack initiation in a circular disc on the base of prefracture zone model with interfacial bonds. Chapter II is deals with crack initiation in an annular disc under power and thermal loads. Past IV in devoted to propagation of bridged crack in an annular disc.
