On 12.10.2016 at 10.00 at the Institute seminar, associated corresponding member of ANAS, Dr., Geylani Panahov will give a talk on “Transport phenomena in the heterogeneous porous media and innovative methods of regulation”.
In this report we will discuss the flow of heterogeneous fluids in porous media accompanied by several transport phenomena – pore space clogging, adsorption, suffusion, desorption, and other processes of interaction of gas-liquid-porous body. These effects play an important role in the process of oil and gas fields development. And as a consequence of these effects while on filtration of heterogeneous systems is the complete cessation of the flow of hydrocarbon liquid to the well bottom. The report presents the results of laboratory and applied research, and technological solutions for the processes regulation developed from this researches. An important need exists to consider the adsorption and clogging effects during heterogeneous fluid filtration in a porous medium and the possibility of flow regulation through suffusion of different accumulations. Analytical and approximate solution of the Cauchy problem and process description is shown with help of kinetic, diffusion, telegraph equations. The study of adsorption-desorption, clogging and suffusion phenomena made it possible to develop innovative technologies to improve the sweep efficiency by uniform foaming, recovering of adsorbed gas before the depletion of gas-saturated reservoir, as well as enhanced oil recovery processes. The conditions for gas-liquid system generation in a define reservoir area under different phase state.
