According to Information of IMM based on science.gov.az site , by the decision of the Presidium of ANAS dated February 15, 2017 N 2/3, competition was announced for Nominal Awards of ANAS on behalf of Nasiraddin Tusi, Hasan bey Zardabi, Academician Uzeyir Hajibeyli, Academician Mirasadulla Mirgasimov, Academician Yusif Mammadaliyev, Academician Musa Aliyev and Abbasgulu agha Bakikhanov.

Competition aims at encouraging the scientists who contributed to science development and gained vital achievements, as well as immortalizing a number of Azerbaijan scientists and thinkers’ memory.

Pursuant to the regulations, Awards of ANAS are granted due to important fundamental and applied research results, works, discoveries and inventions over particular scientific fields.

Documents (2 copies, along with electronic version) for nominators should be submitted to Science and Education Office of ANAS (Baku city, Istiglaliyyat str., 30, room 502) until March 17, 2017:

– Submission on the candidate’s nomination (common data on scientific activities of the nominee, and detail data on scientific and practical importance of scientific work submitted to the competition should be reflected in presentation);

– List of candidates’ approved scientific works;

– Personal card for staff accounting;

– 2 photos (6×9 cm.);

– Higher education, research and scientific names of certified copies of documents;

– Biography;

– Phone;

The authors of those studies awarded the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan’s state awards and other nominal awards of the state, are not allowed to be nominated with Nominal Awards of ANAS.
