On March 31 a memorable day in the history of our country. There are days, with the size of joy, days there are also memorable, with the grandeur of sorrow and disaster.
March 31 is one of memorable days with the grandeur of sorrow and disaster. On March 30, 1918, beginning from the night to April 2, in the mass slaughter, thousands of innocent people, including many elderly, women and children were killed. In the capital and in various parts of Baku province, and also in Shamakhi, Guba, Khachmaz, Lankaran, Hajigabul, Salyan, Zangezur, Karabakh, Nakhchivan and other regions, March tragedy have been implemented by the brutality of the Soviet and Dashnak Armenian armed forces. According to official sources, about 12 thousand Azerbaijanis were killed, 10 thousand people were missing. Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev signed a decree on March 26, 1998, and March 31 was declared the Day of Genocide of Azerbaijanis.

History will never be forgotten. Though Armenian aggression is the page of our history, written with blood, Azerbaijan is a powerful influence in the region and with all the challenges of being able to come in at any time.
