Within the program “Integration of science and Education” Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics conducts seminars and lectures for secondary school pupils.
In the 6-th lecture, the leading research associate of “Algebra and Mathematical Logic” department of IMM, phD in mathematics Eminaga Mirzaga oglu Mammadov gave a talk on “Cauchy Bunyakovsky inequality, relations between numerical, geometrical and harmonic means”. You can watch this talk in You Tube channel of IMM. The Cauchy-Bunyakovsky inequality was proved, the relations between numerical, geometrical and harmonic means were obtained, and different applied problems were considered.
