On 18.05.2017, at 10.30, the regular seminar of “Optimal Control” department will be held Leading Research associate of the department and phys. math. sci. ass. prof. Mammadov Eldar Shamil oglu will give a talk on “Application of Simplex method for linear programming problems”.
The talk deals with the essence of the Simplex method for solving linear programming problems, advantages of this method. In linear programming problem when the signs ≤; ≥and = are given in the mixed form and in the canonical form when it is impossible to choose directly basic variables, the method for solving the problem without additional calculations and simplifications is suggested. The cases of finite and infinite iterations will also be studied.
