Islamic Development Bank (IDB) awards the award in the nomination “Science and Technology”.
The prize is awarded to IDB member states each year in the following three categories:
1. A very important scientific or technological contribution to the social and economic development of the country;
2. Significant contributions to science in engineering, agriculture, medicine, biotechnology, information technology, optics, material science, pharmacy, industry microelectronics, nanotechnology and alternative energy sources;
3. Successful research institutes in less developed IDB member.
Detailed information on the prize and the application form can be found on the official web-site (www.isdb.orq). The winners will be awarded during the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors of the IDB on 3-5 April 2018 in the Republic of Tunisia. Information on a candidate and application form must be submitted to [email protected] until 30 November 2017.
