Today, at IMM, the meeting of the Scientific Board was held. The meeting was opened by the director of IMM, corr. member of ANAS, prof. Misir Mardanov.
Professor informed participants about the I Congress of Young Scientists of Azerbaijan to be held on December 15, 2017 organized by ANAS, Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Youth and Sport of the Republic of Azerbaijan to provide the duties related to intellectual youth of the state Program “Azerbaijani Youth in the years of 2017-2021”.
The young scientists of IMM, ph.d. in math., ass. prof. Aydin Shukurov, phd in math., ass. prof. Sabina Sadigova, ph.d. in phys. Aynura Jafarova were nominated to represent IMM at this Congress. The nominators were supported by the members of the Board.
Then the heads of the “Optimal Control”, “Education”, “Mathematical Physics Equations”, corr. member of ANAS prof. Bilal Bilalov, prof. Latif Talybly, corr. member of ANAS prof. Misir Mardanov, prof. Adalat Akhundov gave reports on the activity of their departments in 2017.
Then the issue about conferring the academic title of “associate professor” to the head of “Computing mathematics and informatics” departments, ph.d. in tech. Hasan Ali oglu Nagiyev by the specialty 1203.01-computer sciences, was considered.
By the secret vote it was decided to apply before Higher Attestation Commission under President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
