22.11.2017 at the general seminar of the Institute with a report on the theme “On the qualitative properties of a class of nonuniformly degenerate elliptic equations” will make the chief research officer of the “Equations of Mathematical Physics” department, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Farman Imran oglu Mammadov.
The report is devoted to the study of the Moser, Gelder and Harnack inequalities for nonuniformly degenerate elliptic equations. With the help of these results, estimates of the fundamental solution are proved.
