In the “Scientists camp” in the Saray settlement of the Absheron region, the designing works of the academy-owned land plot for the construction of a cooperative building for employees of the National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) was carried out. Meanwhile, it is envisaged to take appropriate measures to offer apartments to the employees of ANAS with favorable loan terms.
According to ANAS, excavation works have been started on the territory of the campus in Saray settlement on December 18. Head of the Department of Administrative affairs of Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Fatali Abdullayev said that complex measures have been implemented in recent years to improve the social conditions of the employees of the Academy. He stressed that this social complex will be one of the most successful projects in the history of ANAS. He said that the solution of social problems of the staff of the Academy will always be in the spotlight. He noted that one of the next steps in the solution of social and domestic problems is the opening of the polyclinic of ANAS.
Head of the project Elchin Orujov said that in the area of seven hectares it is planned to construct two blocks, and in general – 18 blocks. The “Science City” residential complex, which will be built to improve the living conditions of ANAS employees, is located in the area of ecologically clean air. Large parks will be built in the yard and around the complex. The head of the project noted that 1, 2 and 3-room apartments are planned to be built in modern design and high quality.
In the residential complex it is also planned to build schools, kindergartens, public catering and social facilities.
