On 21.12.2017 at 10:30am the “Optimal Control” department will held its regular seminar. At the seminar senior research associate of Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, doctor of physic. math. sci., prof. Kamil Ayda-zade will give a talk on “Optimization of control points for rod heating during of control feedback process”.

The approach to the optimal placement of control points in controlling the heating of a rod with feedback is proposed in this paper. Formulas are obtained for the components of the gradient of the functional, which are used in the numerical solution of the problem. The results of numerical experiments are presented.
