Today, Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS held the Institute seminar. Тhe chief research officer of the department “Functional Analysis”, Professor Kurbanov Vali Maharram oglu made a report  on the topic “Convergence of spectral expansions in eigenfunctions of differential operators”.

In the report,  information about on the absolute and uniform convergence and estimation of the rate of uniform convergence of orthogonal expansions in eigenfunctions of an ordinary differential operator of the fourth (third) order with matrix coefficients was given.
