Today, the regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held. The meeting was opened by the director of IMM corr.-member of ANAS, prof. Misir Mardanov. At first, the issue on conferring the academic degree of ass. prof. by the specialty “mechanics of deformable Solids” to sen. res. ass. of ‘Elasticity and plasticity” department, phil. doctor in mechanics Gulnar Mirzoyeva, was considered. It was decided to appeal to the Supreme Attestation Commission under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan as a result of a secret ballot.

Then the members of the board were informed about the students who had finished their doctorate. Sixteen dissertations were certified.

At the meeting were also certification of twelve masters studying at the institute’s magistracy. Scientific-research and scientific-pedagogical experience of II course masters were considered (4 weeks).

Finally, the current issues on the agenda were discussed.
