By the order of ANAS Presidential Decree No. 444 dated July 10, 2017, to promote scientific knowledge and achievements, to introduce new scientific directions, to acquaint the public with the innovations and scientific results obtained in science, raise awareness of science and society in society, for the purpose of stimulating the work of scientists, the Presidium of ANAS has established the prize for effective activity in the field of popularization of Science.

A total of 22 works by individuals and collectives were presented to the competition.

According to the decision of the Presidium, due to scientific and scientific-popular works devoted to the promotion of scientific knowledge and achievements, the director of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Misir Mardanov and the head of the department, “Scientific Technical Information” doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Ramiz Aslanov has been awarded the prize.
We congratulate both of scientists us on behalf of our staff, wish them a sound health and success in their further scientific activities!
