Alternative method of account of temperature influence on properties of viscous-elastic materials and study of strength of temperature and power dynamic loadings in solid-propellant rockets


Today the regular institute seminar of IMM was held. At the seminar, the head of “Creeping Theory” department, prof. Latif Talybly gave a talk on alternative method of account of temperature influence on properties of viscous-elastic materials and study of strength of temperature and power dynamic loadings in solid-propellant rockets.

An alternative method of account of temperature influence on properties of viscous-elastic materials was suggested. This method removes to some degree the deficiencies of temperature-time analogy traditionally applied in this field.

Theorems that enable to reduce linear and non-linear boundary value problem of thermo viscoelasticity theory (non. isothermic problem) in the general statement to appropriate viscoelasticity problem (to isothermic problem) are proved. At the same time, this methods is applied to strength of temperature and power dynamic loadings of solid-propellent rockets. Burning of inner radius of rocket airframe is taken into account. Conditions providing sate operation of the construction are found.
