On 04.05.2018 at 12:00 the seminar of “Creeping Theory” department “Modern problems of mechanics of deformable solids” will be held. At this seminar leading research associate Mamedova Mehriban Ali kizi will give a talk “Prolonged failure of anisotropic hollow cylinder under torsion”.

The process of scattered destruction of a cylindrical hollow shaft with torsion, with a variable distance radius by a shear modulus, will be investigated at the report. The equation of motion of the destruction front will be derived and solved. On the basis of numerical calculation results, the propagation curves of the front will be constructed.
