On November 14, 2018, at 10:00 am, the weekly seminar will be addressed by scientific researchers from the “Cosmic Plasma and Heliogeophysical Problems” department of the Shamakhy Astrophysical Observatory ANAS, who will report on some of the mathematical problems arising in solving of astrophysical tasks:

1. Dr, assistant prof. Mirnamik Bashirov, “Some Solutions of MHD Transport Equations for Anisotropic Solar Wind Model” (the report will consider the non-linear ordinary differential equations system for anisotropic solar wind plasma and some of its solutions).

2. j.s.r. Rajab Ismayilli “Kelvin-Helmholtz type magnetohydrodynamic instabilities in anisotropic solar wind plasma” (the report will consider plasma instabilities in contact surfaces between solar wind flows with different velocities and associated mathematical difficulties).

3. s.r. Mahir Pirguliyev “Low-Frequency Eigenoscillations of the Differentially Rotating Solar Interior with Magnetic Field” (the report will consider the formation of the global vortex Rossby-like eigenmodes with long periods, their relations with the global variability of the Earth’s climate and the mathematical difficulties of the physical problem)
