Seminar on “Synthesis control problem with optimization of control systems in distributed parameters” was held


Today, Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS hosted the Institute seminar. At the seminar, the head of the Laboratory of Numerical Methods of Decision Making in Determinic Systems, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Kamil Aydazade made a report on “Synthesis control problem with optimization of control systems in distributed parameters”.

The report focused on the optimal control of the heating device, which provides the heat transfer system for the heat carrier. The feedback was used to control the issue. Thus, the current value of the control is determined based on the information on the state of the process from measuring devices installed at different points of the apparatus. The mathematical model of the control process is described by the first order hyperbolic equation. The synthesis control parameters, the locations of the observation points and their number are optimized in the problem.

Formulas for the components of the functional gradient, which allows the application of first-order optimization methods to the numerical solution of the problem are obtained. Computerized experiments were performed for the numerical solution of the problem.
