Today, the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS hosted the regular Seminar. The seminar was opened by the director of the institute, corresponding member of ANAS Misir Mardanov. The memory of Rauf Huseynov, a well-known mathematician scientist, head of the Mathematical Physics Equations department of the institute, died in the 79th of his life was commemorated with a minute of silence.

Then, the head of the department of “Liquid and Gas Mechanics”, corresponding member of ANAS Geylani Panahov made a report on the theme “Regulation of Capillary Instability at Hydrodynamic Impact on layer”.

The possibility of regulating capillary instability processes with the Marangoni Effect and increasing hydrodynamic effecting methods was discussed. The implementation of these methods was substantiated on the physical and chemical properties of fluids and saturated collectors, taking into account the conditions of compression.

Finally, discussions were held around the topic and questions were answered.
