Today, the regular seminar of IMM was held. At the seminar ass. prof. of the chair of “Higher Mathematics” of BSU Sarvan Tahmaz oglu Huseynov gave a talk on “Harnack inequality and continuity by Hölder of a solution of uniformly degenerate in the domain of  the p-Laplace equation with a Makenhaupt weighted”.

In the report, a class of uniformly degenerate second-order quasilinear elliptic equations of divergent form are considered. For solutions of equations of this type, an internal a priori estimate of the Hölder norm is obtained,as well as the continuity of the solutions by Hölder  and the weak Harnack inequality  for non-negative solutions is proved.
