On November 06, 2019 at the general seminar of Institute be helds the report of the chief scientific employee of the department of the “Differential equations”, d.m.s., prof. Ziyatkhan Seyfaddin oglu Aliev on the theme “On the global bifurcation of solutions of some nonlinear eigenvalue problems for ordinary and partial differential equations”.

The report presents some nonlinear eigenvalue problems for ordinary  differential equations of second and fourth orders, and for elliptic partial differential equations of second order. Information will be given on the results obtained in recent years and on unsolved problems on the bifurcation of solutions from zero and from  infinity of these problems.
