On November 25, President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on awarding the staff of Baku State University.

According to the order, a group of ANAS employees were awarded on the 100th anniversary of Baku State University and their contribution to the development of education and science in Azerbaijan.

The vice-president of ANAS academician Nargiz Pashayeva, vice-chairman of the Committee on Science and Education of the Milli Majlis, corresponding member of ANAS Bakhtiyar Aliyev and vice-rector for science and innovation of BSU, corresponding member of ANAS Aydin Kazimzadeh Awarded with the Order “Shohrat”.

In addition, academicians Abel Maharramov and Yusif Mammadov were awarded the Order of Labor of the 2nd degree.

Academician Vasif Babazadeh and corresponding member of ANAS Masuma Malikova were awarded the “Honorary Diploma of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan” by another presidential decree.
