On 04.12.2019, at 10.00 at the Institute seminar, the head of the department of “Creeping Theory” doctor of phys. math.sci. prof. Latif Khalil oglu Talybly will give a talk “On one phenomenological model for modeling of increasing ice thickness on the surface of the aircraft”.

A phenomenological method allowing to determine the increasing thickness of ice formed on the surface of an air-craft when flying in unfavorable flight conditions. Asymptotic formula connecting the ice thickness from the flight time of the aircraft in icing conditions, is established. Comparison of the obtained theoretical results with the earlier known experimental data on wing flow of GLC-305, is given. The offered formula is recommended to predict the increasing ice thickness on the surfaces of an aircraft in the given set of experimental data on icing.
