December 4th, 2019 at 12:00 will be a joint seminar of the department “Differential Equations” and the department “Equations of Mathematical Physics” on the topic “On completeness and basicity for problems with a spectral parameter that appears both in a differential equation and in boundary conditions”.

At the seminar, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Ilham Veliullah oglu Aliyev will make a report on this topic. During the report, a linear spectral problem for a differential equation of arbitrary order will be considered. The boundary-value problem is posed so that the spectral parameter is included in the boundary conditions. For this problem, linearity will be shown, and some spectral properties of the obtained new linear operator will be studied. Such problems are also generalized for differential-operator equations.
