By joint organization of ANAS Free Trade Union and National Center of Ophthalmology named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva are conducting a free eye examination of the Academy’s staff today.

The humanitarian action in the main building of ANAS will run till 16:00. The main purpose is to promptly screen and treat patients, detect abnormalities of refraction (myopia, hypermetropia, astigmatism), prevent eye diseases and monitor them.

During the medical care by physician-ophthalmologist staff of the Mobile Clinic, providing via advanced devices, the eye care and vision of the ANAS staff are checked, necessary treatment is provided, patients are advised on time, and a number of consultations are carried out.

The action is going to be resumed in March.

Note that the Mobile Clinic of the National Center for Ophthalmology named after academician Zarifa Aliyeva is conducting regular medical campaigns in the regions and cities of Azerbaijan to prevent eye diseases, which is considered a part of President Ilham Aliyev’s healthcare projects.
