Today the regular Institute seminar was held. In the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS chief researcher of “Functional Analysis” department, doct.math.sci. Elshad Hatam oglu Eyvazov gave a talk “The role of mathematics in solving some problems of quantum mechanics.”

The report consists of four parts. The first part discusses the Schrödinger operator with zero-range potential, the essence of the Berezin-Minlos-Faddeev method is revealed. The second part covers the spectral properties of the magnetic Schrödinger operator. The third part deals with the Aharonov-Bohm effect, and the fourth part of the problem of surface superconductivity.

At the end, the victims of the Kholajy genocide were commemorated with a moment of silence.
