Today the regular Institute seminar was held. In the seminar of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics of ANAS candidate for the degree of Doctor of Sciences in Mechanics Mahir Aligulu oglu Mehdiyev gave a talk «Dynamics of moving and vibro-moving load acting on the inner surface of a hollow cylinder surrounded by an elastic medium».

The report is dedicated to studying two-dimensional axisymmetric problems and three-dimensional non-axisymmetric problems of dynamics of a moving and oscillating-moving load acting on the inner surface of a hollow cylinder surrounded by an elastic medium.

The results of the investigations related to problems of dynamics of moving and oscillating-moving loads acting on the inner surface of a two-layer hollow cylinder wille also reported.

The reported results were obtained within the framework of the piecewise homogeneous body model by utilizing the exact three-dimensional equations and relations of elastodynamics and three-dimensional linearized theory of elastic waves in bodies with initial stresses.
