May 3, 2023, at 10:00 a.m, at the IMM all-institute seminar, Nazila Rasulova, Associate Professor of the Department of Wave Dynamics, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, will make a presentation on the topic “Representation of solutions to plane problems of elastodynamics through analytical functions of a complex variable”.

The paper shows the process of presenting a solutions of the hyperbolic system of differential equations,  through the analytic functions of a complex variable. In a particular case, the self-similar problem of impact by a noncircular cone on an elastic membrane is solved.
