For many years Azerbaijani and Bashkortostan scientists cooperate in various fields of science and technology. Thus, fruitful scientific and experimental-applied relations have been established between the research teams of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics and the Ufa State Oil Technical Institute (Ufa, Russian Federation). Within the framework of the agreement on scientific and technical cooperation between the two organisations, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan, Professor Geylani Panahov was elected a member of the organising committee of the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Development of Hydrocarbon Potential – Green Technologies” and took part in the work of the conference held in Ufa on 21-23 May 2024. At the plenary session of the forum, professor Geylani Panahov made a report on “Achievements and prospects of scientific and applied cooperation between Azerbaijani and Bashkir researchers in the development of energy-efficient hydrocarbon technologies”. Within the framework of the events held in Ufa, Professor Geylani Panahov also took part in the exhibition “Oil. Gas. Technologies” at the exhibition center of Bashkortostan.
