Today  the  “Optimal Control” department was held its regular seminar. In the seminar the doctoral  student of  the “Optimal Control” department Narmina Gubatova gave a talk on “Necessary and sufficient conditions for extremum in the problem of the calculus of variations with one fixed end-point”.

In this work  investigated second order necessary and sufficient for weak local extremum conditions for strong local extremum and also considered case with quadratic functional.
