On December 31, 2016, candidate of physical-mathematical sciences, ass. prof. Rauf Abdulla oglu Bayramov would be 75. He has given great contribution to development of mathematical science in Azerbaijan and beyond it. Rauf Bayramov was born in 1941 in the known cultured family. His farther Abdulla Bayramov was the Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, his mother Tahira Tahirova was one of the diplomat women in Azerbaijan and was the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan. His family has played a key role in his formation as a personality. After finishing school N160, in 1958 Rauf Bayramov joined mathematics faculty of Azerbaijan State University. After graduating from this University he joined post-graduate course of the Institute of Mathematics of Siberian Brand of the AS of the USSR in Novosibirsk city. Main results of his scientific research in the field of algebra and logic are on the basis of his Ph.d. dissertation. At the Institute of Mathematics he has worked as a senior research associate, head of laboratory, head of Algebra, Logic and Topology department. Rauf Bayramov had participated at the Conferences held at different foreign countries. Alongside with scientific activity, R. Bayramov was engaged in pedagogical activity.
He was a superviser of several Ph.d. dissertations. He has authored over 150 scientific papers, of the monograph “Investigating clones and algebras of finite functions close to them, selected problems of theory of manifolds”.
A talented scientist, professional teacher and kind man Rauf Abdullayev passed away on March 9, 2007 after long-term disease. His memory will be in hearts of the people he knew him. God rest his soul.
