Today the regular meeting of “Optimal Control” department was held. The senior research associate of the Institute of Controls Systems, doctor of technical sciences Ramin Rza oglu Rzayev gave a talk on “Fuzzy logic in historical foreshorting: Main notions and principles”.
The basis elements of fuzzy logic and its mathematical apparatus was explained as necessary basis for initiating real intellectual systems that are able to adequate mutual behavior with a human. The first serious step in this direction, L. Zadeh’s paper “Fuzzy logic” published in “Information and Control” journal was especially underlined. It was noted that this paper laid foundation of theory of fuzzy sets and simulation of intellectual behavior of human. And all these made possible to initiate a new field of science “Fuzzy logic”.
