Azerbaijan scientist was invited to Toronto University to give lectures

The Azerbaijani world-known scientist, doctor of physical-mathematical sciences, professor Mesud Efendiyev was invited to Toronto University and Fields University in the biggest city of Canada, Toronto as deans distinguished professor to give lectures on mathematical biology in mathematics faculty from 01.01.2018 to 30.06.2018. Usuallly these Universities invite to give lectures the “Deans Distinguished Professor” laureates of Nobel prize.
Mesud Efendiyev was born in Zakatala city of Azerbaijan, finished the secondary school with honors diploma and studied in mathematics-mechanics facuty of Baku and Moscow State University. He has defended his thesis under supervision of prof. Mark Vishik and Alexander Shnirelman. This work was submitted by acad. Ashraf Huseynov to “Azerbaijan Elmler Akademiyasinin Meruzeleri” journal and was published in 1975.
In 1989 he was invited to Maryland University of the USA. There he was offered to submit his documents to participate in Humboldt prize competition. After receiving this prize he decided to stay at his second native land, in Germany.
The Azerbaijani world-known scientist, doctor of physical-mathematical sciences, prof. Mesud Efendiyev works as a head of “Dynamic Systems” department at “Helmholtz” scientific-research center in Munchen city of Germany.
As a professor, he has given lectures in Japan, Europe, Canada and at all Universities of the USA. He is a member of editorial board of some authoritative journals, editor-in-chief of “International Journal of Biomathematics and Biostatistics” and has authored five monographs published in Japan, Germany, USA and Sweden.
