Within the program “Integration of science and education”, IMM conducted scientific-popular lectures and seminars for secondary school pupils. The regular lecture was given on April 13, at 15.00 at the assembly hall of IMM. Leading res. ass. of “Algebra and Mathematical Logic” department of IMM, phil. Doctor in math. Eminaga Mirzaga oglu Mammadov gave a talk on “Cauchy-Bunyyakovskiy inequality, relations between numerical, geometrical and harmonic means”.
In the talk, Cauchy-Bunyakovskiy inequality is proved, relations between numerical, geometrical and harmonic means are obtained. Teachers and pupils of secondary schools are invited to participate at this seminar.
