Еhe next seminar of the department “Equations of Mathematical Physics” was held.
At the seminar, with a report on the topic “Harnack’s inequality for solving the p-Laplace equation with weight the Muckenhoupt in some part of the region”, the candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor Sarvan Takhmaz oglu Huseynov.
During the report, non-negative solutions of the Laplace equation of Muckenhoupt type were considered, and for these solutions the Harnack inequality was proved. A problem is considered that depends on the parameter, and it was shown that the parameter can tend to zero, but the Lebesgue norm of the solution remains dependent on the parameter and uniformly bounded.
