IMM carries out scientific-popular lectures and seminars for secondary school pupils within the program “Integration of science and education”.
The regular lecture will be given on may 25, at 15-00 at the assembly hall of IMM. The teacher of mathematics of acad. Zarifa Aliyeva lyceum cand. phys. math. sci. Hasanov Akbar Jumshud oglu will give a talk on “Two order curves on a plane and their applications”
In the lecture, using geometry definition of two-order curves, ellipse, hyperbola and parabola, derivation of their canonic equations and some applications are given.
IMM invites all secondary school pupils and teachers, and also interested ones to take part at this seminar.
