On May 31, 2017 at 12.00 will be the next seminar of the Department “Differential Equations”. At the seminar asoc. prof. Shirmail Bagirov will give a talk on the theme ” The existence of solutions in the exterior domain of certain semilinear elliptic and parabolic equations”.
In the exterior of a compactum, certain semi-linear elliptic and parabolic equations are considered and theorems of Fujita type are proved. Depending on the nature of the nonlinearity, questions of the existence of global (everywhere defined) solutions are studied. There are estimates of the non-existence of global solutions and examples show the accuracy of the estimates obtained.
