Today at the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics the regular meeting of the Scientific Board was held. The meeting was opened by director of IMM, corr. member of ANAS, prof. Misir Mardanov.
Professor acquainted the members of the board with resolution “Juridical regulation of professional trips of the collaborators of ANAS”.
The heads of “Differential Equations”, “Wave Dynamics”, “Applied Mathematics”, “Fluid and Gas Mechanics” departments, professor Akper Aliyev, Jafar Agalarov, Gabil Aliyev, corr. member of ANAS Geylani Panahov reported on annual activity of their department.
Then the head of “Scientific-Technical Information” department, prof. Ramiz Aslanov reported about has participation at the International mathematical education forum “N.I. Lobachevsky and mathematical education in Russia” dedicated to famous Russian mathematician N.I. Lobachevsky and held on 16-22 October, 2017 at Kazan federal University, at Kazan city, Russian Federation.
