Logitech, company that produces devices, has developed a system for integrating physical keyboard into virtual reality that allows you to control the interface by typing text in the VR-transaction.
The prototype of the system introduced by the company was “HTC Vive” VR-process, as well as software for the keyboard layout and user’s hands in virtual reality.
The user can select several options for displaying the keyboard in virtual reality. Additionally, the software allows the keystroke used in the key combinations of an active program.
At present, the company testing the beta version of the system is planning to begin receiving applications for software prototype deliveries until mid-November. Upon receipt of orders, 50 developers will be provided with sets of “Logitech G” serial keys, controls and software.
The commercial version of the system is not reported. The set price is $ 150.
