On 14.12.2017 at 10:30am the “Optimal Control” department will held its regular seminar. The chief scientist of the Institute of Mathematic and Mechanic of National Academy of Science Ziyatkhan Seyfaddin oglu Aliyev will give a talk on “Exact boundary controllability for the Boussinesq equation with variable coefficients”.
The report is about proving that the linearized problem is exactly controllable in any time T>0. It will be shown that approach is essentially based on a detailed spectral analysis together with the moment method. Furthermore, the local exact controllability for the nonlinear problem by fixed point argument will be established.
