In the department “Algebra and mathematical logic”  5 works on two themes are executed.
Theme 1. Application of algebra and logic methods to topology, functional analysis and theoretical physics.
Work 1. Spectral properties of the sum of weighted endomorphism’s.
Ex: cand.ph.m.s. l.r.a. A.I.Shahbazov, j.r.a. V.M.Mammadova.

Work 2. The use of the law of tertum ad absurdum and impication with empty anticedents in geometrical proofs.
Ex: head of dep.cand.ph.m.s. ass.prof. Ali Babayev, s.r.a. Valeria Majlumbeyova.

Theme 2. Studying the works of Nasireddin Tousi on mathematics and logic sciences.
Work 1.On the rigour of proofs in Nasireddin Tousi’s mathematical and logical works.
Ex: head of dep.cand.ph.m.s. ass.prof. Ali Babayev, s.r.a. Valeria Majlumbeyova.

Work 2. The notion of quantity, their equality and operations on them.
Ex: ph.doc.in math. l.r.a. Eminaga Mammadov, r.a. Rana Babayeva.

Work 3. Studying of Tousi’s interference by the work “On measurment of convex lines and surfaces”.
Ex:r.a.Ali Aliyev, cand.ph.m.s. s.r.a. Leyla Sheykhzamanova.
