On 17.05.2018, at 10.30, the regular seminar of “Optimal Control” department was held. At the seminar leading scientist of The Institute of Control Systems of ANAS, Dr., Assoc. Prof. Anar Rahimov gave a talk on “An approach to numerical solution to inverse source problems with nonlocal conditions”.
In the talk we consider two inverse source problems for a parabolic equation under nonlocal initial and boundary conditions. A numerical method is proposed to solve the inverse source problems, which is based on the use of the method of lines. The initial problems are reduced to a system of ordinary differential equations with unknown parameters. To solve this system, we propose a non-iterative numerical method based on special representation of the solution. We present the results of numerical experiments on test problems.
