The International scientific conference "XI Modern Problems of Mathematics and Mechanics" will be held under the organization of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, dedicated to the memory of Nasireddin Tusi, a brilliant Azerbaijani scientist and thinker who lived in the 13th century.
The conference is planned to be held on July 03-06, 2024 in Baku.

On 15.05.2024 at 10:00 at the all-institute seminar the principal researcher of the “Fluid Mechanics” department of the Institute of Mathematics and Mechanics, PhD Abbasov Eldar Mehdi oglu will give a presentation on “Development of rheokinetic bases of application of heterogeneous fluids in oil and gas production“.

The presentation will cover the results of research on rheokinetic effects in heterogeneous fluids and the development of innovative industrial technologies for in-situ generation of carbon dioxide. Non-equilibrium effects of in-situ gas generation as a method of enhanced oil recovery for fluid displacement in heterogeneous porous media will be discussed.
